Real campaigns, real numbers, no rounding up.

Jacks Media is a young agency and we're not going to pretend otherwise by filling this page with logos we don't have. What's below is what we've actually run, with the actual figures. Where a number is small, it says so.

Case study · lead generation

Roofing and cladding, Adelaide Hills.

A roofing and cladding business with no previous paid advertising and no audience data to build on. The objective was narrow on purpose: enough enquiries to fill a gap in the books, in the areas they actually service. It ran for two weeks and then we turned it off.

5

qualified leads

In the first 9 days of the campaign going live.

9

days from launch

From a cold account with no prior conversion data to work from.

2

weeks, then switched off

It only ever needed to fill a gap in the books. Once it had, we stopped spending their money.

What we did

  • Built the campaign around one job type rather than "roofing" in general
  • Targeted the service radius they'd actually drive to, not all of Adelaide
  • Meta instant lead form with qualifying questions, so enquiries arrived pre-filtered
  • Every enquiry delivered the moment it came in, so none sat unread for a day
  • Creative built from photos of their own completed jobs

Why it worked quickly

Nothing exotic. A narrow objective, a real service area, creative showing work a homeowner recognises, and a form short enough to finish on a phone. Most campaigns that fail for trades fail on one of those four, not on clever targeting.

Five leads in nine days is a small number in absolute terms, and the campaign only ran a fortnight. It's the speed from a standing start that matters: the account had no history for Meta to learn from, and it still produced work inside the first week and a half.

Case studies · recruitment

When nobody's applying through the usual channels.

Three hiring campaigns across two very different businesses, run the same way as a lead generation campaign but pointed at recruitment. The people worth hiring are usually already employed and not browsing job boards, but they're on Instagram at smoko. One of these got switched off early because the role was filled.

Roofing · Adelaide Hills

12

applicants for a qualified tradie to run jobs

A senior role, and the hardest kind to fill. Someone with the experience to run jobs unsupervised. We targeted people already doing that work and put the role, the responsibility and the conditions plainly in the ad rather than burying them in a job ad nobody reads.

Roofing · Adelaide Hills

32

applicants for labourers and qualified roofers

The same business again, this time hiring across two levels at once. Volume matters more here than for a senior role, because you're filling multiple positions and can afford to be selective about who you call back.

Skin & beauty clinic

29

applicants for the beauty hiring campaign

Not a trade business, and it worked exactly the same way. The clinic then asked us to switch the campaign off, because they'd hired. That is the outcome you actually want from a recruitment campaign: it stops costing you money because it did its job.

Recruitment campaigns are often faster than lead generation because the offer is unusually clear: a specific role, a specific rate, a specific area. There's much less to test. It also isn't a trades-only trick: any business competing for staff in a thin market can use it. How recruitment campaigns are built.

Case study · Messenger bookings

No lead form, no website. Just Messenger.

The same Adelaide Hills skin and beauty clinic as the recruitment campaign above, running two treatment offers as Meta conversation ads: an eye-lift treatment and a neck and jawline treatment. There's no instant form and no website in the funnel. Every enquiry lands as a message in Facebook Messenger, handled by the clinic's own team.

Neck & jawline treatment

48

messaging conversations started

$9.13 per conversation. Meta's own reporting flagged this one as high performing.

Eye-lift treatment

23

messaging conversations started

$19.15 per conversation, the slower of the two, and still being optimised.

71 conversations combined, $878.69 spent across both campaigns, over roughly two and a half weeks so far. Both are still live. How Messenger conversion campaigns work.

Organic, for what it's worth

263,000 views with no ad spend behind it.

Jack runs an automotive content account, @j4cksls, separately from the agency. Over three months it pulled 263,000 views and reached more than 100,000 accounts organically, without a dollar of promotion.

It isn't a client result and we won't dress it up as one. It's evidence that the person shooting and cutting your content understands what holds attention in a feed, which is most of the job.

Being straight with you

What these numbers do and don't tell you.

What they show

  • Campaigns built from scratch producing results inside the first fortnight
  • Recruitment through Meta working repeatedly, not once, and in two unrelated industries
  • A campaign switched off early because the client had already hired
  • Tracking set up properly, so the numbers are attributable rather than guessed

What they don't

  • Four campaigns across two businesses is a small sample. We're not going to imply otherwise
  • Three of the four were for the same roofing business, so this isn't four separate clients
  • Your results depend on your offer, pricing, competition, budget and follow-up speed
  • Nobody can guarantee a lead count, and you should be wary of anyone who does

Before you sign anything, we'll tell you what we honestly think is achievable for your business, including if we think the answer is "not much, yet".
