Every shoot needs a plan before we turn up. We need a completed content brief seven days before the shoot, and we'll send you a template to fill in, free. Without a brief we don't shoot, because a day on site with no plan produces content nobody can use. If you'd rather we did the thinking, we'll build the strategy and content plan for $450 per shoot. Payment is due at least 24 hours before the shoot.

The monthly package includes planning. Its $750 onboarding fee covers account setup, content planning and your ongoing content schedule, so retainer clients never pay the $450. One-off shoots have no onboarding fee.

Shoots within 30km of our base are included; further afield is quoted before booking. Shoots are paid before the day and can be rescheduled free with 48 hours' notice.

The terms, in plain English

Minimum term

Every Statement of Work carries a minimum initial three month term, then rolls month to month. After the minimum term, either side can end it with 30 days' written notice.

Ad spend

Always paid by you directly to Meta, separate from and in addition to our fees. We never hold, invoice or refund advertising budget.

Scope and extra work

Work outside your agreed scope is quoted before it's done, and billed at $120 per hour if you approve it. No surprise invoices.

Ownership

Your ad account stays yours. Ownership of finished content passes to you once paid for. Raw footage and project files stay with us unless separately agreed.

Why is the onboarding fee $750?

It covers the work that happens before anything is live: strategy, competitor and audience research, ad account and partner access setup, lead forms built and tested, and building the first campaign or content schedule. It’s charged once per client, not once per service, so take two retainer services and you still pay it once.

Is my ad budget on top of these prices?

Yes. Advertising budget is paid by you directly to Meta from your own ad account. We never hold it, invoice it or refund it, which means you can see exactly what was spent in your own account at any time.

Why is there no GST?

Jacks Media is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is added to any of these prices. If that changes, existing clients will be told before it applies to them.

What happens after the three months?

It rolls month to month. Either side can end it with 30 days’ written notice. The three month minimum exists because Meta campaigns need time to gather data, not to trap you.

What if I need something outside the scope?

Additional work outside your agreed scope is quoted first, and billed at $120 per hour if you approve it. You will never receive an invoice for work you did not agree to in advance.

Can I change tiers later?

Yes. Moving up takes effect from the next billing month. Moving down takes effect after your minimum term, with the same 30 days’ notice.

Do you offer a discount for taking all three services?

The discount is structural rather than a percentage off: the $750 onboarding fee is paid once across everything rather than once per service, and content produced for your shoots feeds both your ads and your social posting instead of being bought twice.
