Meta Ads Management
Meta ads that book jobs, or fill the ute with a new crew.
Facebook and Instagram advertising for Adelaide trade and service businesses, built around one objective at a time: bring in enquiries worth quoting, or bring in people worth hiring. Run inside your own ad account, optimised weekly, reported monthly.
The problem
Boosting posts is not advertising.
Most trade businesses that say "we tried Facebook ads" have boosted a few posts, spent a couple of hundred dollars, got some likes from people three states away, and stopped. That's not a fair test. It's a different product entirely.
What boosting actually does
Optimises for engagement. Meta shows the post to people likely to react to it, because that's what you asked for. Likes are cheap. Enquiries are not, and you never asked for those.
What a real campaign does
Optimises for leads. Proper objective, a defined service radius, a tracked lead form, creative built to stop the scroll, and budget moved every week toward whatever is producing enquiries cheapest.
Two objectives
We point the same machinery at one of two problems.
Lead generation
For when the diary has gaps, or the work coming in isn't the work you want. We build the campaign around the specific job type and the suburbs you'll actually drive to, then use the ad copy to filter out the enquiries you don't want before they reach you.
- Instant lead forms, so nobody has to leave the app to enquire
- Service-radius targeting down to the suburb
- Before-and-after and on-the-job creative
- Qualifying questions built into the form
- Leads land in your portal and you get told straight away
Recruitment
For when nobody is applying through the usual channels. The people you want are already employed and not browsing job boards, but they are on Instagram at smoko. A recruitment campaign puts the role in front of them there.
- Ads targeted at people already in the trade
- Role, pay range and conditions stated plainly
- Application form that works on a phone
- Content that shows what your business is like to work for
- Applications delivered as they come in
We generally run one objective at a time to start, because splitting a budget across both usually means neither gets enough data to work. The Accelerate tier covers running multiple campaigns once the first one is producing.

Real campaigns
What both objectives look like in practice.
Actual numbers from campaigns we've run, not a best case. Two businesses, three different objectives: leads, hiring and Messenger bookings.
5
leads in the first 9 days
Lead generation for an Adelaide Hills roofer from a standing start, with no tracking history. It ran a fortnight and then we switched it off.
32
applicants for roofing roles
A recruitment campaign for the same business, hiring labourers and qualified roofers at the same time.
29
applicants for the beauty hiring campaign
A skin and beauty clinic, proof this isn't a trades-only trick. They asked us to switch it off because they'd hired.
71
Messenger conversations, two campaigns
Same skin clinic, different job: two treatment offers run as conversation ads rather than a lead form, over about two and a half weeks so far.
Pricing
From $900 a month, published in full.
Three tiers. Your advertising budget is separate and paid by you directly to Meta. A one-off $750 onboarding fee covers strategy, account setup, tracking installation and the first campaign build.
Questions
Meta ads, answered honestly.
How much should I spend on Meta ads?
For a local trade or service business, enough that the algorithm gets consistent data, usually a few hundred dollars a week rather than a few hundred a month. We’ll give you a straight recommendation for your market and objective before you commit, and your budget is paid by you directly to Meta, never through us.
How long before I see leads?
Campaigns usually start producing enquiries in the first fortnight, but the first month is partly learning, because Meta needs conversion data before it gets efficient. That is exactly why the minimum term is three months. Judging a campaign at week two tells you almost nothing.
Do you guarantee a number of leads?
No, and be careful of anyone who does. Results depend on your offer, your pricing, your service area, your competition, your budget, and how fast you follow up on enquiries. We’ll tell you honestly what we think is achievable before you sign anything.
Do I need a website for Meta ads to work?
Not always. For most trades we use Meta instant lead forms, which fill in inside Facebook or Instagram without the person ever leaving the app, so no website is needed. Every lead lands in your Jacks Media portal the moment it comes in, and you get told about it straight away, so you can ring them back while they are still thinking about it. A website helps for higher-value considered purchases, and we will tell you if yours is holding the campaign back.
Can Meta ads really help me hire?
Yes, and it is one of the more reliable ways to reach tradespeople who are not actively looking on job boards. It uses the same machinery as lead generation, pointed at recruitment: an ad in the feed of people who already do the work, and an application form they can fill out on their phone.
What happens to my ad account if we stop working together?
Nothing. It is your account, your audiences and your ad history, and every lead the campaigns produced is already yours. We hold partner access, not ownership, so when access is removed everything stays exactly where it is.
Will you use my existing photos and videos?
Ad creative is produced by us as part of your package, because advertising needs creative built to perform rather than existing posts repurposed. If you have good raw footage of your work we will absolutely use it. It just gets cut and captioned for the ad, not posted as-is.
Do you work with businesses outside Adelaide?
Yes. Meta ads are run remotely, so we work with trade and service businesses anywhere in Australia. Only content shoots need us physically on site.
Tell us what you want more of, and we'll tell you if Meta can deliver it.
A short conversation, a straight answer, and a plan you can say no to.
No obligation, no pressure. If we're not the right fit we'll tell you.
